When the Veep TV show kicked off its fifth season, the HBO TV series had already been renewed through season six. The sixth season debuted with no such guarantee. Not only is Selina Meyer (Julia Louis- Dreyfus) — the former vice president and president — struggling to navigate uncharted political territory, the comedy series is, too. An HBO political satire, Veep also stars: Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Sufe Bradshaw, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole, and Sam Richardson. One year after losing the presidency, Selina is working to shore up her legacy. Dan (Scott) is trying to get on the good side in his new job. Meanwhile, Amy’s (Chlumsky) D.C. attitude is a bit too much for her new co-workers.
