Is a Veronica Mars revival happening? Recently, Kristen Bell discussed the possibility of a mini-series with TVLine.
Bell played the titular teen detective on the UPN/CW series for three seasons before it was cancelled in 2007. In 2014, a feature film follow-up was released.
When asked about a possible Gilmore Girls-style mini-series, Bell said:
Rob [Thomas] and I definitely want to make more of Veronica Mars. There are a variety of variables like my TV contract, his TV contract, what platforms will allows us to do something truncated like six episodes or eight episodes that won’t demand a full 22. So there’s a variety of things that we have to consider, but we are definitely striving to do it again.”
