NEW YORK, NY, May 3, 2016 – VH1, which is leading the top 25 cable networks in growth and enjoying its highest ratings in six years, announced today a weekly topical show hosted by the highly sought after Amber Rose — feminist, author, actor and entrepreneur known as “Muva Rose” to her 18+ million social media followers.

Produced by Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions, Rose, a true survivor in every sense of the word, plans to bring her unique style, hustle and hilarious point of view.

Slated to premiere this summer, Rose will conduct candid interviews with celebrity friends and lead provocative, entertaining and humorous conversations with guests about pop culture, motherhood, relationships, friendships, race, and entrepreneurship.

According to VH1 General Manager Chris McCarthy, “Amber has inspired millions of young women by overcoming homelessness to become a wildly successful entrepreneur. A true multi-hyphenate, she is a devoted mother, a strong advocate for women’s rights and a celebrated author all of which make her an ideal host. Amber is a perfect addition to the VH1 family because our audience is interested in hearing unique perspectives from those who are unapologetically themselves and not afraid to take a stand on issues they are passionate about.”

“I am very excited to be joining forces with such an amazing network to deliver a fresh perspective on the primetime talk show. Join us as we break all the rules and redefine late-night. Watch out Fallon, here comes MUVA!” said Amber Rose.

Amber Rose is a proud mother, actor, activist, entrepreneur, spokesperson and published author from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MUVA has affectionately become known as the face of neo-feminism. Ms. Rose’s rise to massive popularity is now largely attributed to her controversial yet impactful perspective on women’s issues. At the core of the Amber Rose brand is her non-profit, the Amber Rose Foundation, dedicated to female empowerment and equality. Last year, Rose rallied her massive social media following to help produce the largest “SlutWalk” in the world. As a philanthropist, Rose has an extensive entrepreneurial profile, which includes acting, producing film and television, modeling, an active public speaking and touring schedule, an eyewear and clothing line, her top-selling audiobook, “How to Be a Bad Bitch,” and #1 paid-app in the world MUVAmoji.
