New York [Aug. 10, 2017] House rehabber Ally Mahon transforms Pittsburgh’s battered old homes into timeless treasures in the new DIY Network series Vintage Rehab. Premiering Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the eight-episode series follows Ally as she reveals the beauty of stately Steel City homes hidden behind years of decay. She then creates spaces that reflect a vintage look while incorporating modern conveniences.

“Pittsburgh is my home town and reviving these properties is my passion,” said Ally. “My job is to add value and comfort without taking away that vintage charm.”

In the premiere episode, Ally and her team restore a newlywed couple’s 1920s Craftsman-style home in the historic neighborhood of Squirrel Hill. In the kitchen, Ally uses terra cotta tile flooring, open shelving and an antique leaded-glass window to reinstate the room’s classic design. Ally also tackles the lackluster backyard by designing an outdoor escape that includes a paver pathway and a fireside lounge for entertaining.
