TV show description:
Freewheeling businessman Ripley Holden (Lloyd Owen) is the ultimate gambler who’s on the verge of great success, just as soon as he can open his own casino in Laughlin, Nevada.
When his financing suddenly falls through, Ripley approaches his enemies for help — dashing and wealthy casino owner Nicky Fontana (Hugh Jackman) and his second-in-command Marcus (D.B. Woodside). Things start to get a little tricky for Ripley when the body of his former business partner is found in his club.
At home, everyone wants Ripley for something; his gorgeous wife Natalie (Madchen Amick) wants his attention; teenage daughter Cheyenne (Ellen Woglom) wants his approval; and son Jack (Carter Jenkins) wants to help him at work. Through it all, Ripley’s passion and eternal optimism endure.
Episode three – Takin’ Care of Business
Ripley discovers that cheaters are stealing from the Viva and decides to take matters into his own hands. He hires better security guards to catch the culprits, make an example of them and to prevent others from doing the same.
The episode did not air.
Episode four – Magic Carpet Ride
Titles of other unreleased episodes include “Need You Tonight,” “Would I Lie to You,” and “Fighter.”
There’s been no news of any plans to revive the series or characters.
