The giant robot will be back in action soon. Entertainment Weekly reports season two of Voltron: Legendary Defender will premiere later this year on Netflix.
Executive producers Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery revealed the news at Comic-Con alongside head writer Tim Hedrick.
Based on the ’80s animated series, Voltron: Legendary Defender features the voices of Steven Yeun, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Kimberly Brooks, and Rhys Darby.
From Dos Santos, on the news:
We kept getting that question [about season 2] over and over and again and were forced to lie to a lot of people’s faces unfortunately when asked about it for quite a while.”
