The boys are back! Netflix has just released the official trailer for the series return of comedy duo Bob Odenkirk and David Cross, W/ Bob & David.
It’s been 17 years since Bob and David have last graced the screen with their particular brand of offbeat sketch comedy. In 1995, the pair premiered their cult favorite comedy series, Mr. Show, which ran for four seasons and a total of 32 episodes on HBO.
Since, the two have branched off with their own projects. Cross played noted never-nude Tobias Funke on Arrested Development while Odenkirk’s delved more into drama with the role of Saul Goodman in both Breaking Bad and his own spin-off, Better Call Saul.
In 2004, the two tried to get a comedy series back on HBO with David’s Situation, but the pilot never aired.
Their new series will consist of both taped and live sketches in addition to cameos from Keegan-Michael Key, Scott Aukerman, and Jeffrey Tambor.
It will premiere on November 13 with a limited run of four 30-minute episodes plus an hour-long behind-the-scenes special.
As Cross promises in the trailer, expect “plenty of sexy stuff.”
