Waking Lions may soon be on the small screen. The novel by Ayelet Gundar-Goshen is the basis of a pilot that is being developed by NBC. The series comes from Gideon Raff. He is best known for his work on Tyrant, which is currently airing its third season.
Variety shared the following about the plot of the potential series:
“In the international best-seller, Beverly Hills doctor Eitan Green hits and kills an African immigrant on his drive home one night; he flees the scene, but soon finds himself being blackmailed by the victim’s wife. Worse for him, his own wife becomes the lead investigator on the resulting case.”
