The Walking Dead is back on schedule. According to Variety, production has resumed on season eight of the AMC TV show following the death of stuntman John Bernecker.
Bernecker passed away due to injuries caused by a fall on the set of the zombie action drama. Showrunner Scott Gimple released a statement, saying “production is heartbroken by the tragic loss of John Bernecker.”
Nearly a week after the incident, production has resumed on the upcoming season of The Walking Dead. The season eight premiere, which debuts on October 22nd, will be the AMC series’ 100th episode.
