Production has begun on the upcoming seventh season of The Walking Dead TV show on AMC. The series stars Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, and Sonequa Martin-Green.
When discussing last night’s mid-season finale of spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, EP Gale Ann Hurd mentioned that The Walking Dead season seven production kicked off in early May. They are currently working on the second episode of the Robert Kirkman series.

In an interview with Deadline, Hurd also said that production of the second season of Fear the Walking Dead should wrap in Baja Studios, in June. The Walking Dead is filmed in Georgia.
