FOX is kicking things up a notch. According to Deadline, the network is redeveloping Warrior, a martial arts series initially developed by NBC.
Created by Dave DiGilio, the drama follows “a broken woman who works undercover – with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master – to bring down an international crime lord.”
Last year, NBC nearly picked up the pilot but passed on it. Afterwards, FOX also passed on the pilot and instead, have ordered a new script.
From executive producer Owen Shiflett, in a press statement:
We could not be happier to continue the journey with Dave DiGilio to bring his vision for Warrior to life. Fox is a perfect home for this world and these characters, and we are ecstatic to realize the potential with them.”
