Is Wayward Pines cancelled or not? Recently, FOX Entertainment boss David Madden discussed the future of the TV show, Deadline reports.
Based on the novels by Blake Crouch, the sci-fi thriller follows the residents of the mysterious town of Wayward Pines. The cast includes Djimon Hounsou, Nimrat Kaur, Josh Helman, Kacey Rohl, Tom Stevens, Hope Davis, Shannyn Sossamon, Carla Gugino, and Toby Jones.
During this summer’s TCA press conference, Madden revealed that Wayward Pines isn’t cancelled; they are just developing ideas for a third season of the FOX series:
We don’t know yet. M. Night has talked to both Dana [Walden, FOX chairman] and me recently about the possibilities of what a third season could be. We are exploring story and casting ideas; we haven’t made any decisions.”
