Web Therapy is traveling across the pond. Deadline reports Channel 4 has ordered an adaptation of the Showtime TV series.
Titled Hang Ups, the comedy will star Stephen Mangan as Dr Richard Pitt, ” a therapist with a checkered career who finds himself at a crossroads and starts treating patients via webcam.” The original Web Therapy starred Lisa Kudrow and ran for four seasons before ending in 2015.
Channel 4 has ordered six episodes of Hang Ups, which is set to debut in 2018.
