Wednesday TV Show Ratings: Whitney, Nashville, Chicago Fire, Arrow, Neighbors, Guys with Kids, Supernatural

WhitneyWednesday, November 14, 2012 ratings — Season premiere: Whitney. New episodes: Guys with Kids, The Middle, The Neighbors, Modern Family, Suburgatory, Nashville, Arrow, Supernatural, The X Factor, Chicago Fire, Survivor, Criminal Minds, and CSI.

On NBC, we had the season premiere of Whitney which attracted a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.2 million total viewers. While this was an improvement over cancelled Animal Practice, the sitcom merely matched its lowest ratings last season.

Guys with Kids held steady (compared to the last original episode on Halloween night) and drew a 1.3 in the demo with 3.8 million viewers. Law & Order: SVU followed with a 1.6 rating (-6% change) and 5.7 million. Chicago Fire finished the night and saw a big week-to-week drop with a 1.6 rating (-27% change) and 5.7 million.

On FOX, the two-hour edition of The X Factor attracted a 2.9 in the demo (+12% week-to-week change) with 8.1 million viewers.

On ABC, The Middle drew a 2.5 demo rating (-7% change) with 8.7 million and The Neighbors attracted a 1.9 in the demo (-10% change) with 6.7 million.

At 9pm, Modern Family won the night in the demo and total viewership with a 4.6 rating (-4% change) and 11.9 million viewers. Suburgatory followed with a 2.4 rating (-17% change) and 7.2 million. Nashville capped the evening with a 1.8 in the demo (-10% change) and 5.9 million.

On CBS, Survivor brought in a 2.6 demo rating (-7% week-to-week change) with 10.0 million viewers. Then, Criminal Minds held steady with a 3.0 rating and 12.1 million. CSI then finished with a 2.4 demo rating (+4% change) and 10.8 million.

And on The CW, Arrow dropped a bit, registering a 1.2 in the demo (-8% change) and 3.8 million. It was followed by Supernatural with a 1.0 rating (0% change) with 2.3 million.
