TV show description:
There are lots of happy couples in the world but this sitcom revolves around the others — those who just can’t seem to figure it out. It follows four relationship-challenged people in their 30s who are unexpectedly thrust into one another’s lives, forming unlikely bonds while living in a townhouse in Queens, New York.
The series explores the lives of these underdogs who, each for his/her own distinct reasons, are solo singles when most of their peers are well along the path of marriage and family.
Caryn Goldfarb (Becki Newton) is a high-strung dental hygienist and Zara Sandhu (Meera Rohit Kumbhani) is a free-spirited artist. Eric Lewandowski (Nate Torrence) is a toll collector who’s on his own for the first time and Stosh Lewandowski (Zachary Knighton) is his cousin.
As the members of this off-kilter quartet get to know each other, they face an endless array of funny and often uncomfortable circumstances. These range from a reunion with an estranged pre-teen son, to confusion about same-sex dating, to scheming the art world to make a quick buck.
Episode #6 — We’re Here. We’re Weird. Get Used to Us.
The group goes to a lesbian bar, where Caryn and Stosh compete for the same woman. Meanwhile, Zara is conflicted between keeping Eric as her darts partner or letting him know that the bar’s patrons think he’s one of them.
First aired: TBD
