Putting its money where its mouth is, CNBC announces the second season of its West Texas Investors Club TV show premieres Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 10:00pm ET/PT. The series stars multi-millionaire investors Rooster McConaughey and Butch Gilliam, and their friend Gil Pranther.

West Texas Investors Club is produced by The Ebersol Lanigan Company with Charlie Ebersol, Mike Lanigan and Jason Henry as executive producers. Jim Ackerman and Luke Bauer are the executive producers for CNBC.

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. – May 24, 2016 – CNBC’s “West Texas Investors Club” returns Tuesday, June 7th at 10PM ET/PT with bigger deals, higher stakes and a whole lot more business. Set deep in the heart of Texas, the 10 original hour-long episodes feature self-made multimillionaires- Rooster McConaughey and Butch Gilliam who have chosen to pass on their success by investing in promising entrepreneurs – but only on their turf and their terms.

Along with their close friend and confidante Gil Prather, Rooster and Butch invite a new batch of ambitious entrepreneurs from across the country to come down to Midland, Texas and make their case. These folks know that they’re getting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to secure an investment – but what they don’t know, is that clever products and beautiful balance sheets will only get you so far with these down-home investors. Rooster and Butch won’t make a deal until they’ve peered into your heart and soul – and taken the true measure of your character.

In the Tuesday, June 7th episode, a young entrepreneur pitches Butch and Rooster an electronic beer tap that promises to reduce keg waste. The beer-loving investors have high hopes, but soon find that this youngster may not be everything he says he is. Later, two moms from Utah show off their practical zip-up bedding.
