CJ Cregg is back where she belongs. Today, Allison Janney appeared as her West Wing character at the real-life White House, NPR reports.
Janney played White House press secretary CJ Cregg on the popular NBC political drama.
Standing behind the press secretary’s podium, Janney excused real-life secretary Josh Earnest, saying he had a “root canal.” The bit continued with a reference to Cregg’s infamous lip-sync performance of “The Jackal” by Ronny Jordan:
It is Friday, which means that at half past 5, I will be performing ‘The Jackal’ in my office for anyone who is interested, or remembers or cares.”
