When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Lori Loughlin, Daniel Lissing, Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Jeremy Guilabout plays National Pacific Railroad’s Ray Wyatt in season four. Brad Krevoy, Robin Bernheim Burger, Brian Bird, Michael Landon, Jr., Susie Belzberg, Eric Jarboe, Michael Shepard and Jimmy Townsend are executive producers. Loughlin is a co-executive producer, along with Paul Jackson, Cynthia J. Cohen, Amanda Phillips Atkins, Derek Thompson, Neill Fearnley, Peter DeLuise, and Michael Rohl.
When Calls the Heart Season Four Premiere: “Words from the Heart”
The season four premiere episode, “Words from the Heart,” marks the official kick off of When Calls the Heart, season four, that was previewed in the two-hour holiday special, “When Calls the Heart Christmas,” on Christmas 2016. Peter DeLuise directed “Words from the Heart,” from a script by Charles Lazer. The series is based on the novel by Janette Oke.

TUDIO CITY, CA – February 6, 2017 – In “When Calls the Heart’s” season four premiere, “Words from the Heart,” premiering Sunday, February 19 (9 p.m. ET/PT), Abigail (Lori Loughlin) takes on her duties as mayor and it seems nearly everyone in Hope Valley wants her attention. First order of official town business comes from Ray Wyatt (Jeremy Guilbaut) with National Pacific Railroad, who proposes a new route he claims will bring business and prosperity to the area. This idea isn’t met with enthusiasm by all residents and it’s up to Abigail to determine the course of action that’s best for the town while not sacrificing the individual interests of its people.
The railroad asks Bill (Jack Wagner) to head its security team leaving him to carefully consider the offer. Meanwhile, in an effort to better integrate Elizabeth’s (Erin Krakow) new students from the settlement with the Hope Valley children, Jack (Daniel Lissing) proposes a friendly competition in the form of a baseball game so he and Elizabeth divide the kids into teams with each of them serving as coach. When it’s time to hit the field, the whole town turns out for the game and one of the new children becomes a hero thanks to Elizabeth’s encouragement to overcome his fear.
