The first season of When Calls the Heart attracted a small but devoted audience for Hallmark Channel. Will the ratings improve in season two or, will they fall? Will this series be renewed for a third season or will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

On the historical drama When Calls the Heart, Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) is a young teacher who’s been accustomed to high society life. Her life changes dramatically when she receives her first classroom assignment in a small coal mining town. The cast also includes Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Chelah Horsdal, Mitchell Kummen, Gracyn Shinyei, and Martin Cummins.
