Two more actors have joined White Famous. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megalyn Echikunwoke (pictured) and Utkarsh Ambudkar have been cast in the upcoming Showtime pilot.
From Jamie Foxx, the comedy centers on Floyd (Jay Pharoah), a young African-American comedian who is trying to maintain the balance between his roots and going mainstream.
From THR:
Echikunwoke will play the yet-to-be-named character of Floyd’s ex-girlfriend, the mother of his son and the love of his life. … Ambudkar will portray Malcolm, Floyd’s frustrated agent, who wants his client to do whatever it takes to make it big in the business.”
Tom Kapinos is writing the script and will executive produce alongside Foxx and director Tim Story.
