Get ready for something new from the team behind The Missing. ITV has ordered a new eight-part drama titled The Widow. Harry and Jack Williams are behind the series, and The Widow will tell the story of a woman trying to figure out what happened to her husband.
Polly Hill, from ITV, said the following about the new series order, per a report from The Hollywood Reporter:
“Harry and Jack really are masters of complex emotional and unpredictable storytelling. The Widow is a brilliantly relevant, contemporary story that constantly surprises and I am delighted to have it on ITV. I think it will be a real treat for our audience.”
The Missing landed on Starz in the United States. No word on if The Widow will end up on US television yet.
