All the world ‘s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. To that end, Jasmin Savoy Brown will star opposite Laurie Davidson’s young Shakespeare, in the Will TV series on TNT. Fans of Damon Lindelof’s HBO drama, The Leftovers, will recognize her as Evangeline “Evie” Murphy.
Per Deadline, Brown will play Emilia Bassano, the “Dark Lady” of Shakespeare’s sonnets. She is a musician, poet, writer and a “proto-feminist.” Olivia DeJonge, Colm Meaney, Mattias Inwood, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Ewen Bremner also star.
