The Woods is coming to the small screen. Deadline reports Syfy is developing a TV series based on the graphic novels.
From James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas, the comic book “is set in Wisconsin where an entire high school campus — including the 300 students, teachers, parents and workers who happened to be there at the time – vanishes without a trace and reappears in the middle of the thick woods on the moon of a distant planet.”
Michael Armbruster will write the TV adaptation and executive produce alongside Jeff Fierson, Brad Peyton, and Boom! Studios’ Ross Richie and Stephen Christy.
