Is X-Files coming back for another season? FOX apparently wants more of the recently rebooted sci-fi series, reports Joe Adalian of Vulture.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returned for six new episodes of the show this past winter.
On Twitter, Adalian posted a quote from FOX chief Dana Walden, who said the network is interested in more X-Files:
"We want to do more #XFiles….just waiting for Chris and David and Gillian" to make the time on their schedules.–Fox's Dana Walden

Earlier, showrunner Chris Carter echoed Walden’s statement by saying that another season would depend on everyone’s schedules. He has said in the past that he has plans for future episodes of The X-Files, but it’s just a matter of “how to get it done.”
