Is The X-Files coming back? FOX says they will make an announcement shortly regarding a new season of the sci-fi series, Deadline reports.
After more than a decade off the air, the show returned for a 10th season in early 2016. Original stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Annabeth Gish, Bruce Harwood, William B. Davis, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, and Mitch Pileggi all returned.
At this week’s Television Critics Association press tour, FOX entertainment president David Madden revealed talks are underway for an 11th season of The X-Files:
A lot of conversations are going on — as you can imagine, these conversations are complex. We hope to be able to announce something shortly.”
