Y: The Last Man has a leader. According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX has hired Michael Green to serve as showrunner for the network’s planned adaptation of the comic book series.
From Brian K. Vaughn, the popular comic book tells the story of Yorick Brown, the only man to survive a worldwide plague that wipes out the world’s male population. Along with his monkey pal Ampersand, Yorick travels the world in search of answers.
Green has previously worked on Heroes, Everwood, and Smallville. He is currently co-showrunning Starz’s upcoming American Gods series with Bryan Fuller.
