Young Justice is back in action. According to Comicbook.com, recording has wrapped on the TV show’s upcoming third season.
As reported earlier, the new season (titled “Outsiders) comes nearly four years after the original animated show was cancelled by Cartoon Network in 2013. Season three will continue to follow “teenage superheroes of the DC Universe [as they] come of age in an animated world of superpowers, supervillains and super secrets.”
According to voice actor Khary Payton, the new season of Young Justice has complete recording. So far, few details have been revealed about season three but we do know it is slated to premiere on DC’s new streaming service sometime this year.
From Payton:
We’ve already recorded all 26 episodes. We’re just waiting for the animation to come back. I’ve already seen some of it. It looks great. I’m so excited.”
