You’re the Worst wrapped season three with a shocker. What will happen during season four of the series? Chris Geere and Stephen Falk spoke about the series with The Hollywood Reporter.
Chris Geere spoke about Jimmy and the impact his walking away from Gretchen at the end of the finale will have on the FXX series. He said the following:
“There will probably be a period of self-analysis where he’s just very self-obsessed and tries to figure things out in his own way. I don’t think he’ll ever feel instant remorse; he’s just not that kind of guy. You hope that, in the end, they have to come together at some point. It’s a love story at the end of the day, and love is not easy, and this is a classic example of that.”
Stephen Falk also revealed that fans will see a small time jump when the comedy picks up the action. He said:
“I don’t think we can keep them away forever, but I certainly think that Jimmy’s actions are something that would make someone not want to hang out with them for at least a while, right?”
