Looks like it’s back to the drawing board for Zoobiquity. According to the Hollywood Reporter, FOX is retooling their procedural drama based on Kathryn Bowers and Barbara Natterson-Horowitz’s best-selling book.
Published in 2013, the non-fiction book discusses the surprising connections between animal and human health.
FOX first announced it would be adapting the book a year ago, with Bones writing team Stephen Nathan and Jon Collier set to write. Both Nathan and Collier will still be a part of the production, but the pilot is now being written by Sean Jablonski, creator of USA Network’s Satisfaction.
The new story will feature a physician and a vet who team up “to save human and animal lives.”
