The $100,000 Pyramid: Season Three Ratings

Last year, ratings for The $100,000 Pyramid on ABC dropped rather sharply. While the Alphabet Network could have cancelled, they decided to issue a renewal. Now that the primetime game show is back for a third season, can it rebuild its audience, or is it destined to fall further? Will The $100,000 Pyramid TV show be cancelled or renewed for season four? An ABC game show hosted by Michael Strahan, The $100,000 Pyramid features famous people partnering with contestants to play word games to compete for large cash prizes. Celebrities appearing in the third season include Andy Richter, Ken Marino, Taye Diggs, Leslie Jones, Gayle King, Nick Lachey, Bobby Moynihan, and Jon Lovitz.  

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. For comparisons: The second season of The $100,000 Pyramid averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 year old viewer demographic and a total audience of 4.350 million viewers.
