This is no pyramid scheme. The $100,000 Pyramid  TV show has been renewed for a second season on ABC. Hosted by Michael Strahan, celebrity guests on the first season of $100,000 Pyramid include: Ana Gasteyer, Randall Park, Alfonso Ribeiro, Sherri Shepherd, Martha Stewart, Bellamy Young, Anthony Anderson, Mario Batali, Anna Camp, Rachel Dratch, Snoop Dog, and ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey broke the news that ABC had picked up season two of the popular star-studded game show during today’s TCA executive presentation.

The Pyramid is back! Hosted by Michael Strahan, the Emmy Award-winning pop-culture phenomenon is reimagined and better than ever when a cast of all-star celebrities take center stage and partner with contestants from across the country to compete against each other with hopes of making it to the winners’ circle and the ultimate prize of $100,000 on “The $100,000 Pyramid.”

“The $100,000 Pyramid” averages 7.7 million Total Viewers and a 1.6/6 in Adults 18-49 so far this summer. ABC’s “The $100,000 Pyramid” is the summer’s No. 1 new show and leads its Sunday 9:00 p.m. time period in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. “The $100,000 Pyramid” is ABC’s most watched summertime program in the Sunday 9:00 p.m. hour in 15 years – since “Millionaire” during the summer of 2001.

Summertime games show have proven a nice payday for the Alphabet Network. Dungey also announced the To Tell the Truth, and Match Game TV shows have been renewed for their second seasons, while Celebrity Family Feud has been picked up for a third.
