In October, we reported that ABC had ordered the half-hour Marvel comedy Damage Control. Now, network president Paul Lee has announced that ABC is developing another Marvel comedy.
ABC currently airs two Marvel series, Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD.
Though Lee would not reveal what the new Marvel comedy was, he said he hopes it will happen. Lee also added that he “can’t wait” to see Damage Control:
That’s the one that’s going to be coming out this season. I haven’t read it yet. I can’t wait to see it. We hope it’s going to be great.”
Damage Control is based on the Marvel comics of the same name and follows a Manhattan-based company that specializes in cleaning up the messes of superhero battles. The live-action series is being developed by Modern Family‘s Ben Karlin.
