About A Boy TV show pilotNBC is sticking with About a Boy, their new sitcom that airs after The Voice on Tuesday nights. The sitcom has been renewed for a second season.

About a Boy revolves around a songwriter (David Walton) who has a big hit that sets him up for life financially. His carefree world is turned upside down when a charming 11-year-old (Benjamin Stockham) and his single mom (Minnie Driver) move in next door.

The comedy has been perfoming well for the network and is currently their highest-rated comedy. It’s also their third-highest rated scripted series overall, falling behind only The Blacklist and Chicago Fire.
