What’s next for Absentia? Deadline reports Amazon is close to renewing the TV show for a third season.
The drama series centers on Emily Byrne (Stana Katic), an FBI agent who goes missing and is discovered six years later only to become a suspect in a new string of murders. The cast also includes Patrick Heusinger, Cara Theobold, Neil Jackson, Angel Bonanni, Richard Brake, Ralph Ineson, Paul Freeman, Bruno Bichir, and Patrick McAuley.
Absentia just debuted its second season in June and it looks like Prime Video is ready for another installment. According to Deadline, the streaming service is set to order a third season of the series and production will begin in Bulgaria soon.

Update: Production Weekly reports that season three production has been set, confirmation that the series has indeed been renewed.
