Natalie Morales is headed to Hollywood. The Wrap reports the Today Show co-host will be moving out west to co-host the syndicated Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live TV shows.
Morales will also become the West Coast anchor for The Today Show.
NBC executive Noah Oppenheim said the move came about due to the need for a permanent anchor presence in Los Angeles:
With our show’s increasing focus on West Coast stories, it became clear to me that having a permanent anchor presence in L.A. would be of enormous value. Please join me in congratulating Natalie on her family’s big move and her exciting new roles. We’re so thrilled that she’ll continue to be part of the ‘Today’ family for years to come.”
Morales will begin her new hosting duties this summer.
