There’s no need to worry whether the American Horror Story TV show will be cancelled or renewed for season nine. At Ryan Murphy’s request, FX already renewed it through season 10, back in August, and season nine has been in the bag since 2017. Now all we’re left to wonder whether the series will end there. Early in 2018, Murphy signed a big overall deal with Netflix, so it could be he wants to be working toward an end to the successful series, or maybe he just wants to know where to take it next. Either way, we’re tracking the ratings to help us figure out the show’s long-term cancellation/renewal chances, so stay tuned.
An FX horror anthology, American Horror Story: Apocalypse stars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Emma Roberts, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Stevie Nicks, Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Amazon Eve, and Joan Collins. As always, Murphy and Brad Falchuk are keeping story details close to the vest.
