American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare: Season Six Revealed by FX

American Horror Story TV show on FX: season 6 (canceled or renewed?). Am

CROATOAN! Sorry. After what seems like years (months, weeks?) of misdirection, the theme for the sixth season of the American Horror Story TV show on FX has finally been revealed (maybe? a little?). An anthology drama series, American Horror Story comes from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The season six premiere title card reads American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare. Roanoke Colony was established in the late 16th-century by Sir Walter Raleigh. During the Spanish-American War, the colonists vanished.

Each AHS season tells a self-contained story. Throughout the summer, FX has been proudly trolling the fandom with a couple dozen misleads, to keep the sixth season theme obscured. Season six of American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare stars: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson (as Shelby Miller), Lily Rabe as Shelby Miller (Actor), Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan, Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Jacob Artist.

What this means for season six is still up in the air. The previous installments have all had a one or two-word subtitle after “American Horror Story:” such as: Murder House; Asylum; Coven; Freak Show; and Hotel.

One thing we do know? Of all of those duplicitous trailers, it was the teeth one that resonated in tonight’s American Horror Story: Darned If We Know season six premiere.

Will each week of American Horror Story season six be subtitled, “My [X] Nightmare,” or “Nightmare” or is the whole season “My Roanoke Nightmare“? It’s too soon to say, but if had folding money to bet, I would wager on a different urban legend, every week. Someone page the Winchester brothers.

What do you think? Did you enjoy the sixth season premiere of the American Horror Story TV series? What do you think theme of season six is. Do you plan to keep watching, on FX?
