American Horror Story viewers will have a familiar face from the world of reality television appearing in the upcoming 12th season. Kim Kardashian is joining the FX series’ cast in a role written with her in mind.
Viewers will also see the return of actress Emma Roberts. She previously appeared in seasons three (Coven), four (Freak Show), seven (Cult), eight (Apocalypse), and nine (1984) of the horror anthology series.
Most details about the 12th season of American Horror Story are being kept under wraps. Still, we do know that the upcoming season is based on the forthcoming novel by Danielle Valentine – Delicate Condition. Actress and playwright Halley Feiffer will serve as showrunner and write the entire season.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy said the following about Kardashian joining the cast of the FX series, per THR:
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family. Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
A premiere date for American Horror Story season 12 will be announced later.
