American Horror Story is going back in time. FX just released a new teaser for the TV show’s upcoming ninth season.
Few details have been revealed about the new season, but it does appear to be a homage to slasher films from the 1980s. The cast includes Emma Roberts and Gus Kenworthy.
Notably, long-time American Horror Story star Evan Peters will not appear in season nine, EW reports. FX has not yet announced a premiere date for American Horror Story: 1984, but the season is expected to debut this fall.
