America’s Got Talent will return to NBC this summer, and there is good news for fans of the series. Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B are all returning to the judging panel. Nick Cannon will also return as host of the series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paul Telegdy, NBC president of alternative and late-night programming, spoke about the return of the judges during the NBC panel at the Winter TCA’s on Tuesday. He said:
“Howie, Mel and Heidi have an undeniable chemistry together and bring unbridled energy to everything they do. We are very excited to bring them back along with Nick Cannon as host, and with the addition of creator Simon Cowell as a judge, the panel just got a little more interesting. We can’t wait for the new season to begin.”
The addition of Simon Cowell to the judging panel was announced in October. He also spoke about the series at the Winter TCA’s. He said:
“Without sounding too arrogant, I am going to call us the Fantastic Four. I like this panel because they are slightly nuts. And now let’s find a star.”
