America’s Got Talent: Season 14; Audition Cities Announced for Summer 2019 Season

Are you good enough to be on America’s Got Talent? Recently, the season 14 audition cities were announced for the NBC TV show, BroadwayWorld reports.

The talent competition series, which just wrapped its 13th season, is hosted by Tyra Banks and features Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, Melanie Brown, and Heidi Klum as judges.

Auditions for season 14 of America’s Got Talent will be held New York, Detroit, Knoxville, Tampa, Charlotte, San Antonio, and Los Angeles. The new season is slated to debut on NBC in summer 2019.

Los Angeles, CA (Oct 29, 2018) – Serving as the nation’s preeminent talent show, NBC’s America’s Got Talent (AGT) will once again hit the road to search for the most talented variety acts in the country. AGT is the original modern-day talent show and has led in ratings for 13 straight years.  Having just wrapped its 13th season in September, AGT once again dominated the summer television landscape, averaging 14 million viewers per episode, and served as the nation’s No. 1 entertainment show of the season in total viewers.  The show was also the No. 1 most social broadcast TV program of the summer based on Nielsen Social Content Ratings, securing more than 30 million social interactions for AGT contestants across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

This past season, Magician Shin Lim hailing from Boston, MA was crowned the AGT Season 13 champion for his mind-blowing sleight of hand magic tricks. In addition to winning the coveted $1 million grand prize, Shin heads to Las Vegas from Nov. 2-4 to headline the America’s Got Talent Live show in the Paris Theater at Paris Las Vegas. He will be joined by Season 13 finalists, singer Courtney Hadwin, trapeze artists Duo Transcend and comedians Samuel J. Comroe and Vicki Barbolak.

AGT originally premiered in 2006 and continues to welcome performers of all talents and ages, allowing them to showcase their skills in front of the entire country, in addition to viewers in the numerous global territories that air the show. AGT has a proven track record of creating stars who are able to build flourishing careers as a result of appearing on the show.  Season 12 winner Darci Lynne has been touring the country since appearing on the show and will have her own holiday special on NBC this December entitled Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas. Singer Grace VanderWaal followed up her Season 11 win by releasing her Billboard charting debut album, headlining her own sold out tour and touring the US with Imagine Dragons. VanderWaal is now filming her first movie as the lead actress in Disney’s adaptation of the best-selling book “Stargirl.” The first ever magician to win AGT, Mat Franco, has been headlining his Magic Reinvented Nightlystage show in Las Vegas since 2015. Ventriloquist Terry Fator has been headlining in Las Vegas since 2007 and currently performs at the Mirage Hotel. Comedians Piff the Magic Dragon and Tape Face have both been headlining in Vegas since appearing as finalists on AGT.

Season 14 nationwide open auditions begin Friday, November 2nd in New York, NY and will make stops in Detroit, Knoxville, Tampa, Charlotte, San Antonio and Los Angeles with additional cities to be announced soon. Acts of any age and any talent can also audition online at www.AGTAuditions.com.

With Got Talent holding the Guinness World Record for the most successful reality television format and airing in 194 territories, this winter NBC will premiere a new global brand extension,America’s Got Talent: The Champions.  Champions will showcase the most memorable and commendable acts from Got Talent formats from all around the world as they compete against one another on a truly global stage.   The series will feature the star-studded judges panel from America’s Got Talent — executive producer Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.  Actor and former NFL player Terry Crews will serve as the host for America’s Got Talent: The Champions which will premiere on NBC on Monday, January 7 from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.

America’s Got Talent was created by Simon Cowell and is co-produced by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment. Simon Cowell, Jason Raff, Sam Donnelly, Trish Kinane and Richard Wallace are the executive producers.
