Angie Tribeca will be back for more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, TBS has renewed the comedy series for a third season.
The sitcom stars Rashida Jones as Angie Tribeca, a detective working with the LAPD on very serious cases. The cast also includes Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole, and Andrée Vermeulen.
In the middle of it second season, Angie Tribeca has been performing somewhat poorly in the ratings. So far, it’s received an average of .27 in the 18-49 demo and 605,000 viewers. Nevertheless, TBS remains committed to the new series, hoping to build a fanbase.

A year ago we began reinventing TBS, and thanks to the incredible talent behind these shows, we’ve come a long way in a very short amount of time. Pulling the trigger on renewals early allows us to build on our success by giving fans new seasons more quickly.”
