Archer is no stranger to change. The show recently moved its setting from New York to Los Angeles. And now Deadline reports season eight of the FX TV series will air on FXX later this year.
From Adam Reed, the animated comedy follows Sterling Archer, a former secret agent who now works as a Los Angeles private detective. The voice cast includes H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Chris Parnell, and Jessica Walter. FX has already renewed the series through season 10.
Archer was supposed to move to FXX for it seventh season, but it remained on the flagship network. The move has now been pushed to season eight, which is slated to begin this spring.

The upcoming season of Archer revolves around the hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles. The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between L.A.’s most powerful crime bosses.”
