Arrested Development: No Season Five Plans Says Jason Bateman

Arrested Development

Arrested Development returned to Netflix in 2013 with a fourth season, and fans are waiting for season five. There have been reports in recent months that claim fans might see season five pop up this year.

Now, a member of the cast has spoken out, and he has made it clear that fans should not expect to see a fifth season this year. In fact, there is a chance that fans will never see a fifth season of the popular comedy.

According to Zap2It, Jason Bateman spoke about the future of Arrested Development while promoting his current project, Zootopia. He said:

“I don’t know where that got started. There is no plan. I haven’t heard of anything solid going forward. That’s not to say it won’t happen. Clearly, Hurwitz has at least one more season of the show in him. Getting the scheduling worked out for the increasingly busy cast is what’s going to take the longest to figure out, though.”
