Arrow, Jane the Virgin, Reign, Supernatural, The 100, The Flash, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries: Renewed for 2015-16 Season

The CW TV showsThe CW has announced early renewals for eight of their current TV shows — The Flash (season two), Jane the Virgin (season two), The 100 (season three), The Originals (season three), Reign (season three), Arrow (season four), The Vampire Diaries (season seven), and Supernatural (season 11).

Of the network’s other current series, this only leaves the fate of Hart of Dixie up in the air. Season three of Beauty and the Beast doesn’t have a start date yet but it’s looking like it will have a summer run.

Network Orders Additional Season for All Scripted Series on Its Fall 2014 Schedule

More Proven Original Series Throughout the Year, Including Fall 2015, Midseason 2016, and Summer 2016

January 11, 2015 (Pasadena, CA) – The CW Network has picked up eight of its current series for the 2015-2016 season, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena. In essence, The CW picked up all of the scripted series from its Fall 2014 schedule to next season.

“Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience,” said Pedowitz. “By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.”

The series being ordered for the 2015-2016 season include ARROW (Season 4), JANE THE VIRGIN (Season 2), REIGN (Season 3), SUPERNATURAL (Season 11), THE 100 (Season 3), THE FLASH (Season 2), THE ORIGINALS (Season 3), and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Season 7). Specific premiere dates for each series will be announced at a later time.
