Arrow fans can rest easy. Star Stephen Amell recently addressed rumors that he was leaving the CW series.
Amell plays the title character, billionaire playboy-turned-vigilante Green Arrow.
On his Facebook account, Amell shut down the rumor, saying:
Facebook… I keep reading that I’m leaving Arrow. I’m not. I have a contract that runs through 2019. At least. Now… That doesn’t mean Arrow will run that long, but if it does… I’ll be here.”
Arrow is currently in the middle of its fourth season. The series has always performed well on The CW. And its fourth season continues to perform decently in the ratings, with an average season four viewership of 2.7 million viewers per episode.
