Arrow is returning to CW with its fifth season this fall, and Stephen Amell offered a few teasers for the upcoming season during a recent Facebook chat with fans, according to TV Line.
Amell stars as Oliver Queen on the series, and he has seen the first script for season five, and fans are definitely in for a wild ride next season. The actor teased the following:
“[The premiere] has the opportunity for us to have the most vicious, violent one-shot in the history of network television. If [the premiere] is any indication, Arrow is going to be f–king mean this year, and that’s really exciting.”
He made it clear to fans he didn’t mean evil, but it looks like Oliver Queen is not messing around next season. The actor also teased that fans will see the return of a character they have not seen in two full seasons. He did not offer any hints about that mysterious return, but he did tease that fans will see a slight update to his Arrow costume.
