Ash vs. Evil Dead: Starz CEO on Season Two Script; Sees Long Success

Ash vs Evil Dead

More Ash vs. Evil Dead is coming. At the TCA winter press tour this week, Starz CEO Chris Albrecht confirmed there’s already a script for season two and what kind of future he sees for the series.

Ash vs. Evil Dead was renewed for a second season in October, before the first episode premiered. Season one finished on January 2nd.

During the press meeting, Albrecht praised the script he’d seen from season two and the series as a whole:

Saw the first script a couple days ago. Looks really good. Second seasons are so important for series. That’s the difference between making a movie and making a series. The cast really gelled through the first season. They appropriately got a lot of acknowledgment from the fans and press. We’re really excited. This is a series. I think it’s got the legs of a real series. The storylines and what I’ve seen on paper back that up. We’re on track for another season in 2016.”

No word yet on when season two will premiere.

What do you think? Did you watch season one of Ash vs Evil Dead? Would you watch season two?
