Awkward: Season Four Ratings

Awkward TV show on MTVDespite a 30% decline in ratings, MTV renewed Awkward for a fourth season — and even ordered twice as many episodes as initially planned. Will the numbers continue to drop or will they rebound? Will the series be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.

Awkward revolves around Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards), a socially awkward high schooler who gains notoriety after an accident is misinterpreted as a suicide attempt. The rest of the cast includes Beau Mirchoff, Nikki DeLoach, Jillian Rose Reed, Brett Davern, Molly Tarlov, and Desi Lydic.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Update: Awkward has been renewed for a fifth and final season by MTV.
