Barter Kings: Season Two to Debut January 9th

A&E’s successful Barter Kings TV series is returning for a second season on Wednesday, January 9th.

The cable channel has ordered a half dozen one-hour episodes this time around. The first season was comprised of 14 half-hour installments.

New York, NY – December 12, 2012 – Bah-Bam! A&E Network’s original series “Barter Kings” is back with a brand new season of incredible trades. The hit series will return with six all-new episodes in a new hour-long format, premiering on Wednesday, January 9 at 10 PM ET/PT.

“Barter Kings” features the thriving subculture of cashless trading, following Steve McHugh and Antonio Palazzola, two of the best barterers in the business, as they trade up from low value items to items worth thousands. In a time where cash is hard to come by, Steve and Antonio have figured out how to get what they want without spending a dime. There is no limit to what these two set their sights on and they will carry out strings of trades to get to their high-priced goal item… because at the end of the day, these Kings are looking to cash out big!

In the season two premiere episode “Snakes on a Trade,” Steve and Antonio welcome a new member to their team, and when they decide to go after a food truck for Steve’s wife, Steve is forced to confront his greatest fear…. snakes.
